The John Adams Band is returning to the Newman Center to celebrate the life and music of the late John Denver, commemorating the 29th anniversary of his passing on October 12, 1997. John Adams, who performed with John Denver in a European national TV special, has performed Denver's music for over 45 years and has performed on such Colorado stages as Red Rocks Amphitheater, The Buell Theater, The Ellie Caulkins Opera House and now for the 4th time at the Newman Center. John Denver's hit songs and lesser-known songs will linger in people's hearts and minds long after they have left one of Colorado's best acoustic concert halls.
